In order to become a member of NIC (The
Northern Illinois Chapter), one no longer needs to be a member of AHDI (The Association for
Healthcare Documentation Integrity).
NIC-AHDI encompasses the area north of Peoria, Illinois, up to
Wisconsin. Membership fees for
NIC-AHDI are
$20 per year for AHDI members and $40 per year for non-AHDI members. We
have reduced fees for students. You will receive access to
our online newsletter
or receive a newsletter by mail and will also get a discount on your symposia registration fees.

also receive reimbursement for half of their exam fee when taking (and
